iPhone SE

The low-priced iPhone launching in Japan on Thursday could fail to attract customers since it will be provided almost for free, just like all the other smartphones.
The iPhone SE comes with almost all the latest features but has a relatively small 4-inch screen. The phone's small size is intended to make it easy to operate with one hand, and its release goes against the recent trend of bigger smartphone screens. The three big mobile carriers hope it will serve as a gateway that gets users of regular cellular phones to switch to smartphones.
