Inhumane

A plaster-making factory in China is allegedly enslaving mentally-handicapped workers.

The workers are woken up at 6am every morning to work in hazardous conditions. They are also only given two meals of unsalted plain noodles.

The factory does not provide them with protective equipment such as gloves or dust masks even though they work with dangerous machines.

Some of the workers are reportedly deaf and mute.

They are housed in single-storey mud houses which are unhygienic and also caked in white powder.
