Ms Kelly Goh, 20, an ITE student, had left her shoes out to dry on metal racks outside their kitchen window when one shoe came loose and fell from the ninth storey to their neighbour's parapet one floor down.
She then told her father, cabby Goh Ah Seng, 58, about the shoe before taking a shower at about 10.45am on Thursday.
