The amount of trust that is built in a relationship is very important.
It is a powerful concept as it transcends time, space and hierarchy.
It does not matter if we are the gardener, senior manager or the boss.
The reverse is true. An unkind word or deed, being disrespectful, being proud or arrogant, betraying the trust of our friends or company.
We need to
understand the individual
attend to little things
keep commitments
clarify expectations
show personal integrity and
apologise sincerely.
