Taxi driver Ling Ah Yen, 67, felt the taxi go over a hump, but didn’t think much of it - until his passengers exclaimed that he might have run over a dog.
Furious that he had killed his dog, the dog owner and his friends surrounded and rained blows on him.
Mr Ling was left severely injured, making him feel like his life is worth less than a dog’s.
