Police say Thailand's craze for the fluffy, owl-like robotic toy "Furby" has led to an online scam that cost dozens of victims a combined US$200,000 (S$250,000).
The case stemmed from complaints against a 16-year-old girl who posted an advertisement for the toys on the photo-sharing site Instagram but never delivered any products.
